Questions about this product

How much foil is on the roll?

50 Sq Ft at 12 inch wide, which is the standard width and fits a normal foil dispenser.

What does heavy duty mean?

A thicker gauge than standard foil. It holds a crimped edge and resists tearing on a corner, which is what a sealed packet or a hot grill grate demands. It is a disposable wrap rather than a reusable one.

Can I use it on a grill?

Yes, and the carton specifically suggests foil packets to help lock in flavor and nutrients. Heavy duty is the grade for grilling, since standard foil tears on a grate.

Can I line a pan with it?

Yes, lining pans before cooking to make cleanup easy is the first use listed on the carton. Line the pan rather than the oven floor.

Can I use it in the freezer?

Yes, freezing food in foil gives protection from air and helps prevent freezer burn. Press it tight to the food, since trapped air is what causes the burn.

Can I make a funnel out of it?

The carton suggests exactly that: foil can be shaped into a funnel of any size, which is useful pouring into a small mouthed bottle.

Can I make a sprinkler top?

Also on the carton. Mold a piece of foil over the bottle opening, secure it with a rubber band, and punch a small hole through the foil. That turns a vinegar or oil bottle into a sprinkler.

Can it clean an iron?

Yes, running a warm iron over a piece of foil takes starch off the soleplate. It is one of the household uses printed on the box.

Can I use it in a microwave?

No. Foil is metal and does not belong in a microwave.

Can I wrap acidic food in it?

Not for long storage. Tomato, citrus, and vinegar react with aluminum and can leave a metallic taste. Use a container for anything acidic being kept.

Which side goes against the food?

Either one. The shiny and dull finishes come from the rolling process and perform identically.

What is the UPC?

Heavy duty works great, tough

Love this product! Heavy duty works best for me (regular is still pretty good). If I need more airflow I poke holes, because it's heavy duty it's really strong and works great.

Excellent product

Reynolds Wrap heavy duty and their non-stick are my go-tos for lining pans and when I need extra-strong wrap for food storage.
Highly recommend 👌

Heavy duty!

Love heavy-duty Reynolds Wrap! Feels a lot thicker than regular and holds everything when we make grill pouches on the barbecue. Cleanup is crumble and toss, no leaking out the sides or tearing when you adjust it. Also like the tabs that keep the box lid closed instead of flapping in the drawer. Tear strip makes grabbing the right amount easy. Overall really great tin foil!!

Tough, durable wrap

For home cooking and kitchen use, Reynolds is a brand you can count on. Got this Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil (95 sq ft) just in time for family occasions we've done for years. Personally tested through lots of cooking, withstands high heat for baking, grilling, or smoking. Keeps food tender, juicy, and freshly baked. Sturdy enough to cover pans in the oven or on the stovetop for easier cleanup. Wrap leftovers for fridge or freezer, plus decorating and other daily household uses. Highly recommend to friends and family.
