Ant, got no mo

I purchased this item and put it down in my back yard to stop the red harvester ants from making a way through my yard and causing my dogs to itch excessively from their bites. I only used a small amount in my neighbor's yard at the point the ants enter my yard. The following day I checked and saw only a few ants in my yard, and at the point of entry I saw a gridlock of ants confused as some were taking the bait back to the nest. It's been a week now and there are zero ants spotted anywhere in my yard.
I feel like I bought way too much, but I will have plenty in case they do come back. And my dogs itching is slowly going away. Whoo hoo.
