Easy, safe and looks effective

Easy to bait and safe to arm. Brilliant design easy enough I'd trust my five year old or my wife to set it. Haven't caught anything yet but nothing has come for the bait either.

Caught the rat eventually.

Used it to unalive a rat that was pestering my RV roof. Took a while to catch it, due to rats being very cautious with anything new in their environment but eventually its curiosity got the better of it. Took about 2 weeks. . It wasn't pleasant for the rat.

Very powerful

What a rat trap! It has a powerful bite and be careful if your pitting your fingers in it because it is painful and could cause young/weak fingers severe damage. I think this is a good design and hope it works for years to comes. I like it's kill rats guarantee on the box.

Safer Rat Trap

The Victor Safe-Set Rat Trap is an excellent way to keep rats out of my garage or barn. The bait cup is safe to access and the trap is easy to set. Because this is covered, there is less risk for my children and pets when they come into contact with the trap.

Fast and forceful!

I didn't read the entire description before buying this, so I thought that the rat would be entirely enclosed in this trap once it was called. It does not and half of it gets squished by the edge of it so that some of the rat is still hanging out of it. I like the simplicity of using it. It is very easy to set and I don't risk snapping my fingers in it. It's also really sensitive for closing so once something is in at the bait, it snaps down with a lot of force and very quickly.
